Helpless Solos Audition Guidelines
Please arrive 5 minutes early to your audition time slot. You will be auditioning with a small group. The audition will take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes. You will need to stay during that entire time with your group.
Each person in the group will each take a turn and sing Helpless individually. Please stand on the X in the center of the room.
Make sure state your name before you begin your song
The “Helpless” accompaniment track will be provided for you
You will have a one measure of introduction before you sing
Please sing measures 11-23 in your music
The song MUST be memorized
Please show us your personality and use facial expressions as you sing
Make sure you pronounce the words clearly and stay in rhythm and pitch. The song moves fast so be careful with your breathing.
