Girl Solo

You got that nine to five, but baby so do I. So don't be thinkin' I'll be home and bakin' apple pies.  I never learn to cook but I can find a hook. Sing along with me, sing, sing along with me.  You gotta know how to treat me like a lady, even when I'm actin' crazy tell me everything's alright.

Helpless Solos Audition Guidelines

• Please arrive 5 minutes early to your audition time slot. You will be auditioning with a small group.  The audition will take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes. You will need to stay during that entire time with your group. 

• Each person in the group will each take a turn and sing Helpless individually. Please stand on the X in the center of the room. 

• Make sure state your name before you begin your song 

• The “Helpless” accompaniment track will be provided for you

• You will have a one measure of introduction before you sing

• Please sing measures 11-23 in your music

• The song MUST be memorized

• Please show us your personality and use facial expressions as you sing

• Make sure you pronounce the words clearly and stay in rhythm and pitch. The song moves fast so be careful with your breathing.

• You may practice with the sample audition track on the blog
